These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Dehooks platform ("Dehooks", "we", "us"), operated by CLINETRUST Ltd (RC 1959917), a company registered in Nigeria. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Dehooks.
1. Eligibility & age requirement
Dehooks is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to create an account or use any part of the platform. By using Dehooks you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. We may require identity and age verification, and we may suspend or terminate any account we reasonably believe belongs to a minor. Providing false age information is a serious breach of these Terms.
2. Nature of the platform
Dehooks is an online platform that connects users. Service providers listed on Dehooks are independent third parties, not employees, agents, or representatives of Dehooks. We do not provide, supply, control, direct, or guarantee any service, arrangement, or interaction between users.
Any agreement, arrangement, communication, or meeting between users is strictly between those users. Dehooks is not a party to it and accepts no responsibility or liability for it. We do not verify the accuracy of every listing or the conduct of any user, although we operate verification and moderation processes to promote safety.
3. Account registration
- You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.
- You may not create an account for anyone else, or transfer your account to another person.
- Service providers may be required to complete identity verification before their profile is approved and made visible.
4. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- Use Dehooks if you are under 18, or facilitate access by any minor;
- Post content depicting, involving, or sexualising minors — this results in immediate termination and a report to the authorities;
- Post content involving non-consenting persons, trafficking, coercion, or any illegal activity;
- Impersonate any person, or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation;
- Harass, threaten, defame, blackmail, or extort any other user;
- Post another person's private or identifying information without consent;
- Use the platform to distribute malware, spam, or fraudulent schemes;
- Scrape, copy, or harvest data or media from the platform;
- Attempt to bypass security, verification, payment, or moderation systems.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, at our discretion, with or without notice.
5. Content you post
You retain ownership of content you upload, but you grant Dehooks a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and distribute it on the platform for the purpose of operating the service. You are solely responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to post it, and that every identifiable person in it is an adult who has consented to its use. You must not post content you do not have the rights to.
6. Memberships & payments
- Dehooks offers free and paid membership tiers. Prices are shown at the point of purchase.
- Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
- Paid memberships grant access to features for a fixed period and do not automatically renew unless stated; you re-subscribe when a period ends.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for accounts suspended or terminated for breaching these Terms.
- Membership benefits (such as visibility or placement) do not guarantee any particular outcome, number of contacts, or income.
7. Verification & moderation
We operate identity verification for service providers and content moderation across the platform. Verification reduces but does not eliminate risk — a verified badge is not a guarantee of any user's identity, intentions, safety, or the legality or quality of any service. You remain responsible for your own safety and decisions.
8. Safety
Interactions arranged through Dehooks are entirely at your own risk. We strongly encourage caution when communicating with or meeting anyone. Dehooks does not conduct criminal background checks and cannot guarantee the conduct of any user. Report concerning behaviour using the in-app reporting tools.
9. Disclaimers
Dehooks is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any listing or user is accurate, safe, or lawful.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Dehooks and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from: your use of or inability to use the platform; the conduct, content, or services of any user or third party; or any interaction or arrangement between users. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Dehooks harmless from any claim, loss, or demand (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms, suspected illegal activity, or to protect other users or the platform. You may stop using Dehooks and request account deletion at any time, subject to our Privacy Policy and any legal retention requirements.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
